The limestone and shale quarry area is located in Barangays Paraoir and Almeida, Municipality of Balaoan, Province of La Union.  It is bounded by the following geographic coordinates of 16°47’30” to 16°48’30”North latitude and 120°19’45” to 120°20’45” East longitude.

The site can be reached either via Galongen or Bitalag roads form the national highway of Bacnotan town which is approximately 30 km from San Fernando City.  There are barangay roads that cut across the project site from the provincial road.
